Installation Guide:
Step 1: Preparation
1.Ensure you have the necessary tools and equipment, including a jack, jack stands, lug wrench, and safety gear.
Step 2: Vehicle Preparation
1.Park the heavy-duty truck on a flat, level surface and engage the parking brake.
2.Chock the wheels on the opposite end of the truck to prevent rolling.
3.Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel where the brake drum will be installed.
Step 3: Raising the Truck
1.Safely lift the truck using a jack and secure it with jack stands. Make sure the truck is stable before proceeding.
Step 4: Removing the Old Brake Drum
1.Completely remove the loosened lug nuts and take off the wheel.
2.Locate the brake drum assembly and carefully remove it by pulling it straight off the hub.
Step 5: Installing the New Brake Drum
1.Position the new brake drum onto the hub, ensuring it fits snugly.
2.If provided, install any required hardware such as retaining clips or screws.
3.Slide the wheel back onto the hub and hand-tighten the lug nuts.
Step 6: Lowering the Truck
1.Carefully remove the jack stands and lower the truck to the ground using the jack.
2.Once the truck is on the ground, use a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts to the manufacturer's specifications in a criss-cross pattern.
Step 7: Final Checks
1.Double-check all lug nuts for proper tightness.
2.Slowly test the brakes in a safe area to ensure proper functionality.

2.Stability: Ensure the truck is on a stable surface and properly secured with jack stands before going underneath.
