3.Insert the Piston Pin:
Align one end of the piston pin with the piston pin bore in the piston.
Gently tap the piston pin into place using a mallet or hammer, making sure it is fully seated.
4.Insert the Circlips or Retaining Clips:
If using circlips or retaining clips, carefully install them into the grooves on both ends of the piston pin.
Use circlip or retaining clip pliers to secure them in place.
5.Check Movement:
Verify that the piston pin is installed securely but allows free movement within the piston.
6.Repeat for Each Piston:
Repeat the process for each piston in the engine.
7.Double-Check Alignment:
Confirm that the piston pin is aligned properly within the connecting rod and piston.
8.Apply Lubricant:
Apply additional engine assembly lubricant to the piston pin and surrounding components.
9.Consult Manufacturer Guidelines:
Refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for any specific instructions or torque specifications.
10.Record Installation Details:
Keep a record of the installation date, mileage, and any relevant information for future reference.
