Installation Instructions

Installation Guide for Engine Fan clutch assembly.

1.Locate the Fan Clutch:
Identify the current fan clutch assembly attached to the water pump pulley.

2.Remove the Fan Shroud:
If applicable, detach the fan shroud by loosening the bolts securing it to the radiator. Set aside.

3.Loosen Fan and Belt:
Using the appropriate wrench, loosen the fan and belt from the water pump pulley. Carefully remove the fan.

4.Detach Fan Clutch:
Use a Fan Clutch Holding Tool to secure the water pump pulley while you loosen the fan clutch nut with a wrench. Remove the fan clutch assembly from the water pump shaft.

5.Prepare New Fan Clutch:
Ensure the new Fan Clutch Assembly is compatible with your vehicle.
Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the water pump shaft threads.

6.Install New Fan Clutch:
Carefully place the new Fan Clutch Assembly onto the water pump shaft.
Hand-tighten the fan clutch nut onto the shaft.

7.Torque the Fan Clutch Nut:
Use a torque wrench to tighten the fan clutch nut to the manufacturer's specifications. Refer to your vehicle's manual for the correct torque value.

8.Reinstall Fan and Belt:
Reattach the fan to the water pump pulley and tighten the fan and belt assembly.
